2009 Allatoona Summer League Information

 Summer League Details: 

Players will be evaluated and then teams will be made from the tryouts (We will have at least 2 teams, hopefully more). 

Time Frame for Summer League (End of May—June)

Cost:                           $TBD
                                    Cost will cover tournament fees, umpire bills, t-shirt, hats and other equipment costs. 

Schedule:                      Practices Mon-Wed (9:00 am—12:00)
                                    Tournaments Thurs—Sun (Times and Locations TBA)
                                    These will be High School League Tournaments 

Teams:                        These teams are open to all upcoming 9th graders and any transfer students
                                   that will go to Allatoona in 2009.

Summer Coaches:    Former and Current Local College Players 

A strong summer league program can help us get a jump start on a successful 2010 season.  Please understand that making the summer team or getting cut from the summer team has NO Bearing on if you will make the 2010 Spring High School Squad. We ask players that wish to play summer league for Allatoona, make a full commitment for our time period. If you play on a travel team in the summer that is great and we are not asking you to de-commit from that team to ours. Play where you want to. In the Spring, the top players will earn their spots based on their performance in February of 2010, but it would be good to get a jump on evaluating what players will be our future team.
