Buccaneer Baseball Dugout Club

The Buccaneer Baseball Dugout Club functions as an adjunct to the High School’s baseball program. Being a new program, we are starting from ground zero. It is the job of the booster club to help secure funds for dugouts, hitting cages, locker rooms, bathrooms, uniforms, equipment and creating a budget to maintain the actual playing field. WE ARE IN NEED OF CONTRACTORS WILLING TO DONATE TIME AND MONEY to create a top notch facility. For the upcoming season, our plan is to build a backstop, dugouts and a press box/concession stand. We need supplies such as concrete, wood, nails along with a architect willing to help us design a proper facility.  Other basic purposes of the organization is to enhance the school’s program by: 

  • Providing continuing support and guidance for our athletes.
  • Exhibiting the best examples of personal demeanor and sportsmanship on and off the field.
  • Providing assistance, as requested, to the coaching staff regarding non-baseball related issues, and
  • Providing our time, talents, and our resources for the furtherance of Allatoona High School and its academic and athletic programs.

We intend to carry out the above in such a manner that our personal representation, along with our facilities and equipment, and the overall quality of the program, is recognized as second to none in our area.

The Buccaneer Baseball Dugout Club does not act as a board of arbitration between players, parents, and the coaching staff.  We have no role in the selection of players or the playing time of individual team members. The Club is a support system for our program, we are not considered coaches or will act on the coaches behalf regarding baseball on the field.

Buccaneer Baseball Dugout Club 

  • Your participation is essential in order to run the program.
  • Accept and remember your work assignments for concession, gate and all other assignments as needed.
  • Pitch in after each game to clean up grounds.
  • Feel free to call any board member regarding the Dugout Club (Not the Baseball Team).
